By Air to Italy

From the United States you can fly in directly to Rome at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (Airport code FCO) or directly to Florence at Amerigo Vespucci Airport (Airport code FLR). Both cities are about equidistant to La Foce. We recommend traveling into Rome as there may be better flight options. Enjoy a day or two in these beautiful cities and walk off your jet lag!

Rome’s Fiumicino Airport is approximately 30 minutes from the city center. You can take a train directly from the Airport to the city center train station called Roma Termini for approximately €15. There are also buses to Roma Termini. A taxi directly to your hotel from the airport is typically a flat €50.

Florence’s Amerigo Vespucci Airport is approximately a 15 minute taxi from the city center.
